Baked Ziti with Sausage

• You need 1.5 lbs of spicy Italian sausage
• Take chopped tomatoes
• Large onion one diced
• Salt to taste
• Flat leaf of parsley one third cup chopped into small pieces
• Six cloves of garlic
• You need one pound dry ziti pasta that is cooed to al dente
• Fresh oregano chopped one fourth cup
• Diced mozzarella cheese one pound
• Dry red wine one fourth cup
• Grated parmesan cheese three fourth cup
• Olive oil
• Ricotta cheese one cup
Method of Preparation
To prepare this dish you need to preheat the oven to 425 degree Fahrenheit and then take a large skillet and heat the olive oil in it. Then add onion into the oil and cook the onion until it gets soft. Add the garlic and sausage once the onion is soft. Cook the sausage until it becomes brown in color. To make the sausage tasty you need to add the pepper and salt. Mix the red wine in the sausage by removing the excess fat and then leave the sausage for boiling.
Add the tomatoes with juice into the sausage once it starts boiling. Let the sausage get thick by leaving the sausage to cool down for nine minutes and then you can add the oregano. Take a bowl and mix the ricotta and half parmesan, put some pepper and salt.
Then add the sausage to this sauce and mix well and later mix the mozzarella. Take the large baking dish and grease it and pour the mixture. Sprinkle the remaining parmesan and bake it until it turns light brown in color. Your baked ziti with sausage is ready to serve.
