Cheesy Garlic Dinner Rolls

Here is a quick and easy cheesy garlic dinner rolls recipe for you.

• Five and a half cups of flour

• Salt two tablespoons

• Sugar three tablespoons

• Half cup butter

• One and a half cup milk

• Active dry yeast one package

• Minced garlic two teaspoons

• Dried chives two teaspoons

• Olive oil two tablespoons

• Italian dried herb seasoning one teaspoon

• Sharp cheddar grated well, two third cups

Method of Preparation

In a large bowl mix three cups of flour, sugar, salt and yeast well. In a separate saucepan take the milk and add half cup of water to it. Now heat the milk and water mixture to 120F. Having done this, now slowly add the flour mixture and the milk mixture.

Also add one fourth cup of melted butter to the mixture. Make sure you keep stirring the mixture while adding the melted butter to it. Now with the help of an electric mixer beat the mixture at low speed for thirty seconds and then on high speed for nearly one minute. Then add the remaining flour to the mixture to create soft dough out of it.

Keep kneading for six to eight minutes until it becomes absolutely smooth. Transfer the dough to a large bowl and then cover it. It has to be kept in a warm place for one hour to make it rise. Uncover it after an hour, knead the dough again and then allow it to rest for another 10 minutes. In the meanwhile take all the remaining ingredients: olive oil, ¼ cup butter, Italian seasoning, chives and mix them well in a bowl.

Take the dough and divide it into 24 equal parts. In the centre of each piece of dough put a teaspoon of grated cheddar and then roll it into a ball. Now take the butter mix you just made and dip the dough balls into it before placing them in a muffin tin.

Sprinkle the remaining butter mixture adequately on all the dough balls. Now cover dough balls again and allow them to rise by keeping them in a warm place for 45 minutes. Preheat the oven to 375F and bake the dough balls until golden brown or for nearly 14 minutes. Your cheesy garlic dinner rolls are ready to be served hot.
