Ground Beef Goulash
You can prepare this ground beef goulash for an excellent dinner.
Goulash is a famous Hungarian dish and ground beef is preferred by many while cooking it. However, the American goulash is quite different from the Hungarian version. In United States goulash is normally prepared in the form of a stew along with tomatoes. Little bit spices and herbs are also used. The goulash recipes are quite easy and convenient to cook.
Often goulash is served along with macaroni or noodles. You can use different types of ingredients such as onion, garlic, tomato and pepper. You can even cook it with mushroom and oregano. Here is an easy and delicious recipe of beef goulash that you can prepare at home. The entire dish can be prepared within 45 minutes.
One pound of ground beef
2 onions chopped finely
1 can or about ten ounce of condensed soup of tomato
2 cans or 15 ounce of diced tomatoes along with garlic that is not drained
2 teaspoons of apple-cider vinegar
2 teaspoons of sugar
About 3 teaspoons of paprika
1 teaspoon of marjoram leaves, dried
Little bit salt
Three-fourth cup of water
Three cups of pasta
Fresh chopped parsley
Method of Cooking
Cook the ground beef along with onion in a large skillet until the meat gets browned and the onion becomes tender. It should be drained properly. Then you need to add the diced tomatoes, tomato soup, vinegar, paprika, pepper, marjoram, sugar and salt. You must also add some water. This mixture should be cooked for about ten minutes until it begins to boil. Then add the pasta and simmer it uncovered by stirring frequently. Cook it for 15 to 18 minutes. Then sprinkle the chopped parsley and serve hot for a delicious dinner.
