Salmon Cake Recipe
The recipe mentioned below is a salmon cake recipe that can be served to about four people. Many of us may be aware of fish cakes. These mouth-watering fish cakes are not actual cakes like our normal birthday or Christmas cakes but are fish patties. Salmon is the most popular fish that many prefer to eat and available readily.
This cake recipe can be prepared within 30 minutes of time. It is a delicious recipe and is truly healthy as well. It contains good amounts of carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and many other essential nutrients. Many of us try to skip cooking because of the huge time required for cooking. Though, there are many delicious recipes which are stomach filling, healthy and can be cooked in less than thirty minutes time.
• Oil for frying
• 3 cans of salmon
• 2 eggs
• 12 saltine cracker
• Half teaspoon bell pepper
• 2 tablespoon fresh dill finely chopped
• 1 teaspoon cayenne sauce
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice
• Olive oil
Method of Preparation
Canned salmon does not contain many hard bones and hence it can form flakes easily with the help of fork. Add saltine cracker to the salmon fish. Now add pepper, cayenne sauce, finely chopped dill in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Beat eggs with this mixture until a uniform mix is formed. The mixture should be thick enough to form cakes. Mould cakes with hands.
Keep size of the cakes such that they can be fried conveniently. Heat the oil in a large deep skillet. Fry the cakes in the oil until golden brown in colour. Drain excess of oil on the paper towel. The delicious salmon cakes are ready. These can be garnished with various combinations of salads and served with suitable sauces like chilli sauce or mayonnaise sauce. It is extremely tasty recipe that one would love to eat.
