How to cook healthy salmon loaf recipe
Freshly cooked recipes are always preferred over packed food or ready to eat foods. The main reason being that, these packed or ready to eat food contain high amounts of preservatives and additives that are harmful to our health.
These chemicals cannot be degraded by normal body mechanisms and remain in body for long period of time. Therefore, it is advised to eat freshly prepared food. There are many recipes which can be cooked easily. In fact the nutritional quality of fresh cooked food is much higher than any other types of foods.
Also kids love to eat hot and tasty food. Salmon is a favourite food of many people, and therefore, here is mentioned a tasty and delicious recipe of salmon called as salmon loaf recipe.
• 1 can salmon, drained, bones and skin removed
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• half cup soft bread crumbs
• 1 tablespoon butter, melted
• 3 eggs
• 2 and half teaspoons lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley
• Salt to taste
• crushed pepper
Method of Preparation
In a large bowl or any similar vessel mix onion, bread crumbs and butter thoroughly. Add salmon and mix again to coat the salmon with the mixture. Take three eggs and separate them. Beat the egg yolk and remaining ingredients together. Add these to the salmon mixture and stir nicely.
Now, beat egg white in a bowl and fold salmon into it. Grease an oven proof pan of size such that the all salmon loaf mix fits into and place these salmon on the pan. Cook at 350 degrees for 55 minutes until you are able to get a clean cut with knife through a salmon loaf. At this point salmon is completely done.
Remove from oven and set aside for 10 minutes. Delicious salmon is ready to eat and can be served with good combination of sauce whichever one would prefer.
