Salmon Salad Recipe



Salmon salad recipe is one of the popular food recipes that most of the people prepare at home. Salmon is one of the best foods that help people in body building. You get lot of protein and nutritional benefits from salmon that is great for your health. Salmon is great for the heart patients as it contains omega 3 fatty acids and it also keeps the mind cool.

We generally use salmon to prepare various healthy and easy recipes. For preparing the salmon salad you can get fresh salmon from the market. You can even use the canned or smoked salmon. The smoked salmon salad with pasta is an easy to cook recipe and also tasty to eat.

Ingredients:

• Choose eleven oz. pasta that you like

• One small grated carrot

• Lemon juice of two tablespoon

• Cayenne pepper, salt and pepper as per taste

• 1 chopped onion

• 1 diced cucumber

• 1 third cup. mayo

• Half cup. chopped celery

• Smoked salmon of eight oz. pieces in half inch

Method of Cooking

Take a large pot and fill the pot with water. Then add salt to the water. Put the pot on high heat until the water boils. Then add the pasta to the boiling water and allow it to boil. When the pasta is being cooked do not cover the pot. Keep the pasta aside for twelve minutes when it is bit firm or thoroughly cooked.

Rinse the pasta with cold water and drain the pasta water. Then take another bowl and mix all the ingredients with pasta. Then mix the pasta and ingredients with the smoked salmon and the vegetables. Take another container and mix all the spices and mayo and pour the mixture in the salad and mix properly. Enjoy the salmon salad with your family members.
