Vegetarian Mushroom Recipes
There are different vegetarian mushroom recipes you can prepare. To prepare a vegetarian dinner you can make mushroom stuffed rigatoni which is easy to prepare. The mushroom is been seasoned and pureed in food processor and cooked. Then it is stuffed in rigatoni pasta and baked along with ricotta, cheese and tomatoes.
• One teaspoon of garlic salt
• One cup of ricotta cheese
• 16 oz of oyster mushrooms
• 8 oz of wild mushrooms
• ½ teaspoon of pepper
• ¼ cup of butter
• 16 oz Portobello mushrooms
• ¼ cup of olive oil (virgin)
• 24 or 26 (2 inch) rigatoni noodles
• 15 oz diced tomatoes
• One and half cups Italian cheese or mozzarella cheese blend
Method of Preparation
Place garlic, pepper, olive oil, garlic salt as well as mushrooms in the food processor. Place the frying pan on medium heat and add butter, as well as mushroom mixture. Cook it for 5 minutes and stir occasionally. Now remove it from heat and place it down to cool. Now boil noodles for at least 8 minutes and then drain it properly.
Then preheat your oven up to 350 Fahrenheit. Take a plastic bag and place the mushroom mixture in it, then clip all the corner of the bag to make it as a piping bag. After that fill the bag with the pasta till it is not full. Place the filled pasta properly in the baking dish with the non-stick spray. Take ricotta cheese as well as diced tomatoes on the top of it.
Sprinkle pepper and salt over tomatoes and spread out the shredded cheese. Place dish over the cookie sheet as well as bake it without covering it for about 50 to 60 minutes or till the time cheese is not brown and the contents bubbling. Remove it from the oven and keep it for 5 minutes to cool and then serve it.
